We left Uganda to go to Kenya. It was a five-hour van ride to the border village of Malaba, Uganda. Like many border villages it was full of peddlers of al lsorts—money changers, porters, taxis and various bars and merchants. The road stopped 300 yards from the border. We hired a porter who strapped our luggage on the back of a bicycle. We then walked about 100 yards to the immigration/departure office, which had one door and two windows. We completed our forms, had our passports stamped and then walked the remaining 200 years over a river, which served as the border.

Arriving we completed immigration forms had our passports stamped and were met by Pastor Emmanuel Mayeku, another spiritual son of Alex Mitala. During the rule of Idi Amin, Alex used the city of Bugnoma as a base to preach and return to Uganda to bring bibles in for the people. He started a youth movement of which Emmanuel came to the Lord. Now he has a large church of about 1500 people as well as planting around 42 churches throughout the region.

It was very hot and dry in the area and Pastor Emmanuel said it had not rained in a very long time. As I came into his home, there was a tune playing in the room that I just finished with the words "I can see clealy now the rain has come." Within 10 minutes there was the largest downpour they had seen in months. It rained for the next three days on and off and the land was refreshed!

That night I preached out of Daniel 9:16 where he repented to God for his sins and inquities of his fathers in order to have the reproach taken from them. I prophesied that they could stand in the gap and prepare the way for the church the next day to enjoy a freedom like never before. They stood up to repent and cut off the inquities of the fathers. They prayed and prayed and it was so powerful! I told the pastor the next day would be two services that would take his work to an new level. The next morning I preached two services and preached the Power of Sound combined with The Mantle of Jesus Christ. These were two very powerful services. The pastor told me afterward that inded they had gone to the next level that morning!
