Many of the leading ministries believe the next move of the Spirit, which could be the largest since the reformation, is going to take place in the marketplace.

Ten years ago, there were only 25 workplace ministries. Today there are more than 900, along with thousands of Bible and prayer groups that meet regularly at the office. And several of those companies that allow employee prayer groups include a range of Fortune 500 -- like Pepsi, Coca Cola, Ford Motors, American Airlines, Intel, Texas Instruments, and Sears, just to name a few.

What are the reasons for such an explosion of faith in the workplace and what impact is it having on employees?

According to Professor Laura Nash with Harvard Business School, who has authored a book on the subject, "People have this very deep sense that they need to connect what's most important in their lives to work, because work is taking up more and more of their life and they don't want to leave their whole self behind."

97% of all preaching has very little to do with our work day. Almost all of Jesus' parables were about the marketplace...and almost all of his miracles were done in the marketplace. Jesus was a marketplace minister!

Franklin conducts a "Dreams, Visions, Purpose and Goals" conference for those in the church who work -- which is most of the people. It speaks to the call to bring the economics and patterns of the Kingdom of Heaven to the every day life of work -- to not leave your faith at home.
